Summer is travel season! While you can take any toy anywhere as long as there aren't restrictions on what you carry across a border, some toys are made to be especially easy and fun to travel with. Getting out of the house, no matter how far you go, means you'll want toys like that: portable, easy to charge up in advance, maybe even ones you can discreetly wear. Consider a toy that holds a charge for a long time unless you have a long vacay planned. (If you're going to leave the country, do your due diligence about whether you can charge your toys at your destination! You might need an adapter.) You probably also want a toy that's fairly light and won't take up too much space when you pack. This might involve researching small but mighty toys so you get all the vibration you want. And look into the vibes with a travel lock feature--it prevents them from switching on in your luggage.

If you are going to a conservative place, be extra-careful about what you bring. If your toys could seem to ultra-cautious TSA types like weapons of any kind--heavy metal dildos, rope and other bondagee gear, things like that--consider shipping them to yourself at your destination, or at least put them in checked luggage. Here's your second reminder about travel locks: a buzzing suitcase just makes TSA workers nervous, and if they get nervous, they might pull you off the plane to ask what you're carrying around. Another option is running your toys all the way down, though that means, of course, that you'll need to charge them up when you reach your destination. If you travel with a battery vibe, remove the batteries. You did research whether your toys will work with the electrical outlets of your vacation paradise, right?
